About JEE Main Answer Key & Score Calculator

Evaluate your NTA JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main) answer key instantly with KeyGuru.in’s browser-side calculator. Paste your official DigiALM response sheet URL to compute your exact raw score with official +4 / -1 negative marking, evaluate subject-wise performance across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and estimate your percentile and qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main examination twice a year (Session 1 in January/February and Session 2 in April) for admission into premier undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning) at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, while serving as the qualifying gateway for IIT JEE Advanced.

How JEE Main Response Sheet Marks Are Calculated

The JEE Main evaluation engine uses your official recorded response sheet and the provisional answer key published by NTA to determine your raw score:

Each question in Paper 1 is evaluated under standard rules: every correct answer in Section A (MCQs) and Section B (Numerical Value Questions) adds +4 marks. Every incorrect answer incurs a penalty of -1 mark. Questions left unattempted or skipped receive 0 marks. Your final raw score is the sum of positive marks minus total negative deductions: Total Raw Marks = (Correct Answers × 4) - (Incorrect Answers × 1).
