Calculate Your APPSC Group-I Score

Use a supported response-sheet URL if APPSC makes one available for this examination.

Only URLs from the supported domain list are accepted. The page must contain a compatible question/answer structure.
+1 correct  •  −1/3 incorrect  •  0 unattempted
How the calculation works: If a compatible response sheet containing the candidate’s chosen options and the applicable correct answers is available, KeyGuru counts correct and incorrect responses and applies the one-third penalty for each wrong answer.

How to Calculate APPSC Group-I Screening Test Marks

Use the marking rule specified in the notification to estimate your raw score:

Estimated Score = Correct Answers − (Wrong Answers ÷ 3) Correct: +1 mark   |   Wrong: −1/3 mark   |   Unattempted: 0 marks

Example: If you answer 80 questions correctly and 30 incorrectly, your estimated score is 80 − (30 ÷ 3) = 70 marks. Unattempted questions do not add marks or incur a penalty under this formula.

For accurate score estimation, use the applicable official answer key and your recorded answers. The calculator is an estimation aid and does not determine whether a candidate qualifies for the Mains Examination.

Important APPSC Group-I Dates

The notification specifies an offline, OMR-based Screening Test. Any later change to the examination mode or response-sheet arrangements should be confirmed through an official APPSC announcement.

APPSC GROUP-I GUIDE

APPSC Group-I Answer Key & Score Calculator

KeyGuru is preparing this APPSC Group-I score calculator to help candidates estimate their Screening Test marks using the applicable answer key and compatible response-sheet data, if such data is made available. The APPSC Notification No. 07/2026 states that the Screening Test is offline and OMR-based; this page does not assume that an online TCS response sheet will be provided.

What you need

A compatible, accessible response-sheet URL from a supported examination domain, if APPSC provides one. Never share your login password or OTP.

What is calculated

The calculator applies +1 for a correct answer, −1/3 for a wrong answer and 0 for an unattempted answer, in line with the notification’s stated penalty.

What you can review

The result can show candidate details available in the source, overall counts, section-wise performance, wrong-question numbers and a downloadable PDF scorecard when the source format is supported.

How to use the APPSC Group-I score calculator

  1. Check the official APPSC website for examination instructions and any response-sheet or answer-key facility.
  2. If an online response sheet is officially provided, open it and copy its complete URL.
  3. Return to this page, paste the URL and submit it for analysis.
  4. Click Analyze Response Sheet. The calculator will work only if the URL is accessible and its structure is supported.

Understanding the score

The calculator estimates marks using correct answers − (wrong answers ÷ 3). It does not predict qualification or provide a category-wise cutoff. APPSC’s final answer key, evaluation rules and official result remain authoritative.

Official exam mode and score calculation

Notification No. 07/2026 dated 6 October 2026 states that the APPSC Group-I Screening Test scheduled for 24 January 2027 will be conducted offline using OMR sheets. The notification does not confirm a TCS computer-based testing panel. If APPSC later publishes online response-sheet access or a revised exam-mode notice, this page should be updated against that official announcement.

For the Screening Test, each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer attracts a penalty of one-third of the marks prescribed for that question. The illustrative formula is: Estimated score = correct answers − (wrong answers ÷ 3). Unattempted answers score zero.
