- Tough shift candidates gain the most: If your shift was genuinely tough and the average score drops, your raw score of 62 can easily jump to 74 or 76 after normalization.
- Easy shift scores can stagnate: If your shift was straightforward and almost everyone scored above 75, a raw score of 78 might only increase to 79 or could even remain flat.
How to Prepare and File Objections Effectively
When you spot a question where your Chosen Option is demonstrably correct according to standard textbooks (NCERT, standard university references) but the provisional key shows a different answer, you have an objection window that typically lasts only 3 to 5 days.
Do not waste money filing objections on vague interpretations. Check the official Question ID from your response sheet, gather clear photographs or PDFs from authorized government text editions (mentioning edition year, chapter, and page number), and submit the objection strictly through the candidate challenge portal before the portal closes.
